Viera High School Football Coach Arrested for Soliciting Underage Girl

SATELLITE BEACH, Florida -- A Viera High School assistant football coach, 32-year-old Kevin Christopher Verpaele, was arrested at 190 Highway A1A in Satellite Beach on three counts of Computer Solicitation of a Minor - which is a third degree felony.
Brevard County deputies say that Verpaele used a cell phone with an internet service (in this case G-mail) to solicit the unidentified underage girl whom deputies say he had personal knowledge was under the age of 18.
The conversations between the Viera High School assistant coach and the underage girl allegedly occurred on November 2, 7, and 8, 2012.
Deputies describe the conversations as sexually explicit in nature, and consisted of sexual content where Verpaele described sexual acts he wanted to perform on the underage girl which would constitute unlawful sexual activity with a minor.
The arrest affidavit alleges that the evidence of this crime is supported through the statment of the victim and electronic documentation from the G-mail account and additional evidence gathered throughout the investigation.
